Visioneer® Solid Surface is a homogeneous nonporous material throughout the 1/4" veneer. This material is a reinforced modified acrylic, filled with natural minerals. The veneer is backed by 45 lb. Industrial Grade particle board with a high pressure laminate backer sheet applied to the bottom. Visioneer® Solid Surface has been tested and meets or exceeds all standards in the proposed ANSI standard SS-1 Performance Standard for Solid Surface Materials
